Marina do Mar
Marina do Mar is an artist from Brazil whose purpose is to bring people closer to the ocean through music and art.
Resident at the oceanic island of Fernando de Noronha, Marina recorded her first album “the one who comes from the sea" and has been releasing singles and music videos, starting with “Paparea", a soundtrack commissioned for a film distributed by NatGeo about the lemon sharks of Noronha.
She blends different rhythms in her music, mixing Brazilian sounds and world music to raise awareness about various aspects of the sea.

Marina is also an entrepreneur & facilitator of human development processes through the ocean and music.
As a producer she is the founder of Oceanic Art, a production company providing underwater audio-visual experiences in Fernando de Noronha.
She has the mission to be a voice for the ocean and spends most of her time underwater.


Marina has been competing in bodysurfing competitions and has participated as an athlete and commentator to two IBSA Bodysurfing World Tour competitions - 2024 in Hawaii and 2025 in Australia
